A message would never be left on my machine, and when I picked up an automated voice would say hello and then hang up. It called me 3 times at 8 am the day after Thanksgiving so i called it back three times. Each time i would get an automated message that it was checking my records, and then it would tell me i had less than a minute to wait, but then it would hang up. I finally got a person accusing me of being someone that i am not, and telling me I had a debt. I convinced the person that I was not the debtor and he said he would take my number off the computer. We will see what happens.

The man never specified who they wanted to talk to...which is a pain because we've received many collection agency calls trying to reach someone who apparently had our phone number before we got it three years ago. I went to my online banking and every check we have written (which has been a whopping two in the last month...eveything else is online bill pay), and it has all gone through. So I know it's no fault of our own. I have not attempted to call back and have no intentions until they state who they are trying to reach.
